That the sufferings of our Christian brethren in Sudan become known to the whole world.
That the persecutors of Sudanese Christians will be exposed and opposed.
That the Lord will lead more of the right kind of dedicated missionary volunteers to join the missions working inside Sudan.
For health, strength, wisdom, guidance, provision and protection for the pastors, chaplains and missionaries in Sudan.
That peace, with justice, will be firmly established.
For the on-going leadership training courses of pastors, teachers and chaplains.
For mission bases and schools which have been subjected to intensive aerial bombardments.
For the fulfillment of the Great Commission in Sudan.
That the Christians may not only be enabled to withstand the assaults and survive the persecution, but that they will be able to roll back the southward expansion of Islam, winning their persecutors to Christ and making Sudan the first country after Spain to be freed from Islam.
That Sudan will become a strategic bridgehead for the evangelization of the Muslim Middle East and the "10/40 Window countries."
UZBEKISTAN
Please pray:
* Especially for the registration of churches, which is very strict, and for the local authorities who create extra difficulties.
*For the authorities in the southern parts of the country, which are especially critical of Christians.
*For the many who believe that it is impossible to be both a true Uzbek and a Christian.
*For those imprisoned for actively spreading the gospel.
*For forgiveness among the Christian church, that they may stand united in their task.
*For protection from the influence of neighbouring Afghanistan, this encourages the expansion of Islam in Uzbekistan.
TURKMENISTAN
Please pray for:
*The registration process in which churches must submit in order to operate, and for the government’s attitude towards Christianity.
Resolution of the difficulties, and often impossibility, in purchasing premises for worship.
Tolerance and wisdom among Christians.
Greater freedom from the authorities.

*For release from the bondage of occult beliefs.
*For Christian books to be printed in the country.
*That old churches, which have become "spiritual museums," would again be filled with the Spirit and with life.

*Reversal of the current blasphemy law for the 300 people in jail awaiting trial under this law.
*For the government to be able to safeguard the right of the minorities.
RUSSIA
Please pray:
*That God would prepare the hearts of the people to receive the gospel.
*That God will save young people from drugs and alcohol, and show them another life in Christ.
*For revival in Moscow and throughout Russia.
*For Christian education (particularly the Theological Institute- the Siberian Theological Institute, and the Bible Schools).
*For the churches in mainly Muslem and Buddhist areas: The Caucasus, Tatarstan, Bahkiria and Burjatia
MOROCCO
Please pray for:
*Registration and recognition of Christian churches.
*Wisdom for those in leadership positions in Christian work.
*Moroccans studying abroad, that they may meet the Lord before returning home.

* The Protestant churches, that they may not be labeled as sects anymore.
*Funds to build new churches, as the existing buildings are too small for the people.

The political leadership, that they may be concerned for the economic good of the country. Please pray for deliverance from corruption.
Deliverance from selfishness, ambition, and for righteousness to prevail among the people.

Revelation from the Lord and a vision for the nation.

INDIA
Poverty and repression continue to plague many Christians in India.
Please pray that God will protect them, graciously meet their material needs, and help with the children’s education.
Please pray for the authorities and the government that the wave of nationalism now sweeping India will abate and bring tolerance for ethnic and religious minorities.
IRAN
Please pray for:
The inhabitants of the Zagros Mountains, where no efforts have yet, to our knowledge, been made to reach them with the gospel.
The Turkish minority (some 2%), among whom there are only a handful of believers in Christ.
The south-east areas of Balochi and Bahui that the gospel may reach the people there.
HONG KONG
We thank God that the work of the gospel has continued unabated since the hand-over to China in 1997, and that there are many leading men and women in positions of leadership who are believing Christians.
We thank God that various theological seminaries have been able to train and send out pastors and co-workers to Cambodia, Vietnam, China and other countries.
We praise God for the faithful leaders and church members in over one thousand churches in Hong Kong.
Please pray for:
*The thousands of Christians from Hong Kong who visit family members on the mainland, that they may boldly proclaim their faith.
*Young people whose families prevent them from being baptized into the Christian faith.
*Young people in the harsh competition for places of study and work in today’s Hong Kong.
* The countless young people who struggle with drugs, that they may be led to someone who can tell them about the hope found in Jesus Christ.
* More workers to bring in the harvest for Christ in Hong Kong and mainland China.
INDONESIA
Please help pray for:
The Christians in Maluku who are attacked by Muslims.
Those whose churches have been burned in Maluku, Java, Sumba, and South Sulawesi.
Efforts to cancel a government rule that forbids the building of churches.
Wisdom for the government to apply real democracy and human rights, and wisdom to overcome the multifaceted crises.
The need to rebuild (and relocate) destroyed churches.
Unity among the churches in the midst of crises, that they may remain faithful in spreading the Good News.
The multimedia campaign in 52 cities in November 2000, which plans to expose the country to the gospel through any possible media.
Recovery of the Nation from every wound, and the forgiveness of her sin.
